Turkey Sliders on Steel
I was going to cook something more involved but decided to go with tasty but easy outdoors. I had some ground turkey I took out of the freezer a few days ago and remembered about so sliders sounded good. I got the Keg heating a couple hours early and thought the BK Steel was a better route to go than grilling on grates so I put it on the cast iron grate to get good and hot. Turkey cooked really fast!. http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...s/DSC00009.jpg I also had some garlic sausage that I tossed on the steel as well. http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...s/DSC00013.jpg I was a little hungry and there were a dozen turkey slider patties so I indulged myself. I also put some buns on the steel to toast a bit and they came out perfect. http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...s/DSC00014.jpg Sausage with bbq sauce on the right which was really tasty! http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...s/DSC00015.jpg Turkey with Swiss....... http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...s/DSC00016.jpg |
