Cold Front Coming
 

Pardon my ignorance, but what do y'all think this front's going to do to the fishing this week/weekend? I know it's not a blue norther', but the pressure/temp change could affect it. I usually like the pressure falling, this is obviously going the other way...thoughts?

the first cool front is always tricky, because the water temp drop could turn them on, but then again the pressure will definitely work against them. Now if you get to go before the front like Wednesday or Thursday, you'd be golden.

I remember a few years ago a strong front came through Friday night, I knew my weekend was shot but got some live shrimp and hit the marsh, ended up with 12 sheepshead, 5 reds, 18 trout and the next day 25 trout and 5 reds. So hard to say...

If i as you I would trade the rod n reel for a cast net and go get the shrimp coming out the marsh with that north wind

I mostly fish for bass and sometime these fall cold fronts can turn them on, spring fronts almost always turn them off. Like stated above, you got the high pressure working against you.

Tomorrow would be the day to go. Just before the front gets here they should be eating like crazy. Calm winds just before they turn from out the north.

wish I could of went yesterday! two more days at work. heading out sunday morning somewhere. we post later. hoping the wind will lay down. if not ill fish prein. off sunday-thursday and could be about it before storing boat for the winter. well after November lol

First cool day today in quite a spell got alll my fall yard chores to go fore I can go. Been working all morning in da yard dangling a hunt or fish day like a carrot. Oh well back to the grind.
