Calcasieu 10/2/16
 

Fished out of White oak today from dawn til noon. Caught 6 bass three Google eye and two bream. Caught bass on a melontruese crankbait and a blk/ blue fleck work. Nothing consistent. Water was fair visibility (12-14 in).

I've been saying I was going to try my luck out there.

Any day is a good day i guess! There were a lot of squirrel hunters out and lwlf was lurking too! I think the lower end around westfork and that end of calcasieu is better this time of year. More schooling type action due to the large amount of shad population.
