Relocated.

I just took a job in Gonzales and I am currently living in Donaldsonville right across the Sunshine bridge. Was wondering if anyone knew of somewhere I could fish off the bank and maybe catch some bass in the area since I'm boatless here?

My advice is to get a boat because you are a little less than 2 hours away from the best fishing in the state!!

Well no doubt that's in the books. I'm gonna have to catch a ride with you one of these days to show me the ropes down there! I'm just looking for something to get me through. Cause over got a lot of free time here.

there is good fishing from the bank all along airline hwy from Lutcher to Sorrento and there is a boat launch/park at blind river which can be a very good spot when there isn't a lot of activity. the canal stretches for miles and it eventually connects to Lake Maurepas.
