MAPS

What's the best mapping system for a Lowrance in LA? Both offshore and inshore. Thanks in advance.

I use a Standard Mapping e-card, very happy with it.

Standard is a good mat, there are also Legend, and Navionics depending on what you are looking for.

I run the Navionics Platinum+ chart card (the 907p+ I believe which gives me the entire gulf coast). I have been very pleased with the nav charts, sonar charts(1ft hd contours) and the newly improved satellite imagery which is great for inshore.

I make and sell satellite map cards for Lowrance HDS and HDI units. Let me know if interested. I currently have a map covering all of south Louisiana (covering Sabine to dularge to Venice to Chandeleur islands) but can make custom maps of any lake or area in the US. $100 per card and $125 for custom maps
