Not sure on the legal of that.

I have occasionally ended up in possession of baby coons as part of legal nuisance trapping in live traps. The law in that place and time required the coons to be euthanized.

Not sure of current LA laws, but live traps are most likely the easiest way to come into possession of them. Mothers with young are moving around this time of year, and several traps set carefully in proximity of a momma are likely to catch a few.

Baby Coons

A neighbor has one. Already house broke and all.

And yes, I'm sure it's against reg's to have one. Wouldn't hurt to belong to a wild animal rescue club/organization tho. Could probably make a sympathetic plea and maybe work out a compromise, if it came to that.

It does require a permit. Fines are stiff.

I had several over the years when young.if he is a male he will be fine until he drops his coconuts then he gets mean as a rattlesnake. The female was awsome she used tolite but then turn around and drink it.she loved staying in cabinets or top of closet.one day got curtin rod out tapping her to get her down from top of closet and must of hit in temple she fell down dead.and I wasn't tapping hard.it was upsetting like losing a dog.
