Went back to Lake Peigneur this weekend to finish mapping the hole and try and catch some fish. The fish didnt cooperate. I was seeing a cloud of bait between 20 and 30 ft with some large fish underneath. couldnt get them to bite though. tried various spots down the Delcambre canal all the way to the bay. Not even 1 bump...
I was able to Got some more detail on the map, look at the pic with the arrows, they show the waterfall you see in the video about the lake accident. |

is the fishing typically pretty good around that hole? Seems like some kind of fish would enjoy that.
