Big Lake 12-19 & 12-20
 

Got a late start on Saturday and the guys wanted bull reds so we took a wet ride across West Cover and headed towards the jetties. Took a few hours but we caught three bull reds on shrimp and a few black drums. Once they got some drag pulled we went after trout. found some on a reef with terns working the area. Pulled in 14 in an hour before the sun started to disappear.

Sunday we found a strong bite at the first stop landing 2 reds and 12 trout. Moved to about 200 yards and found 9 reds under some birds.

I was fishing a corky/fat boy whatever they are called and my friends were fishing artificial under a popping cork. I've never fished with a corky before but it really produced and held up to a beating.

Very nice! I need to get out there this weekend!
