Rainy Day Ducks
 

Went back for the second weekend of big duck season to my lease in Texas and there were more birds than the first weekend. Another day of light rain and heavy winds had the birds a little spooky. It would take for ever to get the birds within shooting range on Saturday. Ended with our 24 bird limit of greys, widgeon and pintail.

On Sunday, we had a no-show so we hunted 3 and had the birds diving in the decoys all morning long. The birds seemed to decoy much better on sunny days.

Kill em dead.
