10/29 Rock n Roll Report

Rollover Landing empty. Marsh water high due to recent heavy rains and poor Mermantau drainage.

Rockefeller/Joseph Harbor- 30 fishing, shrimping, crabbing boats East and West Side of Joseph Harbor landing. East Side Locks open to let high water from Grand Lake and beyond, drain via Superior Canal. Rumor was that crabs were running the banks due to poor water quality behind some of the weirs. Shrimp were small and not too plentiful. Caught several Redfish along the beach, water was actually decent, even though the wind was out of the SE :pissed::pissed:. Last night's forecast called for NW winds. :shaking: :shaking: :shaking:
Caught Zero Spec's, even though I tried several spots that were good last trip a couple weeks ago.

Bottom line, 3 Reds (probably could have caught more), 0 Spec's and 4-5 lbs of decent/keeper shrimp. Overall...not too good !!!!

I'm retired, therefore no more desk's or bosses....so yes, that is great! However I had hoped to tract down some Spec's. Homey love's a fried Spec.:spineyes::spineyes:
