grand bayou wiers

anyone know if the reds are at the wiers lately? I wanna take my mom and some kids, but don't want to go all the way there if no one's been hittin em.

They weren't there last week but take a left and fish north you should pick up all the flounder you want

falcon29 09-13-2015 11:46 PM

if I can ask what were the flounder hitting on?

TroutSupport.com 09-14-2015 10:04 AM

You can't catch flounder on about anything.

gulp swimming mullet on various jig head weights from 1/8th oz in light current and shallow to 1/4 or larger in deep with current.

I like the black, red, and white the best. Chicken boys shrimp and Bubba Clucker are good as well. You can also 'tip' the jig with a small piece of fresh shrimp if you want to add some 'smell good' to it.
