Thinking of heading to Toledo Thursday , suggestion ??
 

Taking Thursday off and thinking of heading to Toledo ( south end) because I'm tired of fishing the rivers (Sabine and calcasieu). Any tips or pointers to possibly have a good trip ? I've only fished Toledo bend from my own boat a few times so it's still relatively new to me.

With the very hot weather we have had our best success fishing at night.

Find some under water humps or ridges in 15 to 20ft of water next to deeper water and fish carolina rigs with large worms or large worms on a Texas rig.
