Boat ramp on Sabine near deridder?

Where is the closest place to launch a boat on the Sabine river near DeRidder?

Only one I can think of is where 190 crosses the river in Bon wier.

Right off 190? Is it a pay ramp?

As soon as you go across the bridge there will be a little road to the north. No pay as for as I know. It's on the Texas side if that matters to you.

DB what are you trying to launch? The only ramp I know of is on Mouth of the creek road off of Evans hwy. Water level will determine is there is a ramp at 190.

Probably Deweyville will be closest. If the river is not high you got sure will not be able to at 190. You would have to cross some soft sand. I'm not sure of the ramp on mouth of the creek road

Hmmmmm. That's kinda far. May have to change plans. Water is real low I think

This time of the year it is usually pretty low. The ramp that is listed for that area is the on off Hwy 111. I have never actually been to it but if the water is low beware of the sand bars they can be pretty large and very shallow.

It's been years ago, but I canoed from Toleda Dam to Burr Ferry bridge and pulled out there. If you have 4X4 might be worth a shot to launch if your looking for some cold clear water and nice sand bars.

Mouth of the creek ramp was just fine. Fun trying to pithy he boat in trailer with that current going across. Beautiful place with lots of sandbars. Had a good time
