BL Lights

Anyone been fishing Big Lake at night under lights? Seems like it would be good if the tide was running.

The problem with fishing the lights is that most of the time people are on the dock fishing them and they don't like it when us boaters come along. I try to find some where people aren't using them. I fished the lights in Prien a couple of weeks ago and it sucked but the salinity was low and it was on my way back to the house from BL so I thought I'd try it.

I have. It has been fair, but slower than times past. At times it has been excellent.

Is there a way to effectively create your own lighting system while in a boat?
I've often wondered this and even saw the little cheap floating lights, but thought they would be too weak to work.
Anyone out there successfully do this and could share?

Have these on my boat. Work great in clearer water. Turned on at perdido and 20 min later there was a buncha bait in lights. Chris will treat you right.
