Captains license

I am going to get my captains license and looking for recommendations for who to use and if online is better than classes. Any information from licensed captains in the area would be appreciated.

I attended Capt. Roy's in Seabrook, TX. It's about a 2 hour drive from Lake Charles. He and his staff did a very good job and made sure that we knew the information required to pass each test. I went 3 weekends in a row. It was a few years ago that I completed my course but I believe it was around $750 at the time.
