Found these two beauties in the wifes herb garden. The largerer one is having grasshopper for dinner. They are a bit shy about being petted.

The Swampy woods of south Louisiana are full of those "banana" spiders in Aug. and Sept.
Over the years I have walk into many of those webs and had them crawling on me..... but never knew they had a really bad "bite".

I have hit them riding my four wheeler. I know they aren't venomous but there is something freaky about knowing it's on you but you don't know where.lol |
