Trout Bite On Fire 7-5-15

Good times today on the Bluewave with Al Reaux Jr, Nathan Reaux, Josh Champagne, and Matt Williams. The guys wasted no time this morning as soon as we pulled up!! The double rigged Matrix Shad went to work and 15-20 inch trout were flying over the gunnels!! A steady retrieve with a twitch had the fish in a frenzy. The bite was fast and furious, as every one in the boat was reeling in fish. We left the fish biting at 9:45 with the K2 stuffed!!! No need to waste time and money on live bait Down In Dularge. Matrix Shad Lures get the job done daily. As long as the conditions stay calm, the trout bite will remain Hot!! Thanks guys for another incredible trip. Thanks Al Reaux Sr for the continued business over the years.

I am interested in using the double rigged Matrix lures. Would you share with me how you rig them? Are you using smaller lead heads too? Thanks Capt. LaCoste [emoji41]

1/4 oz jig heads tied about 8-9 inches apart is how we rig them.
