They have been in there since Rita... They can live in fresh water. They just cannot reproduce

It has been 10 years since Rita. The average size of a 10 year old male redfish is over 10 lbs. (females 12 lbs.). I don't think that redfish is over 10 lbs.

Saw another one about 2 weeks ago under the bridge on the west side it was maybe 5lbs they in there for sure!!
