Was Just Told a Verry Scary Thing (good story)

Sorry this is soo long..i just had to tell yall this story..it was very scary to hear knowing this happend to my best friend...

My Best friend who i havent seen since friday morning just walked in my house a few hours ago and couldnt talk...he left friday morning to go to texas duck hunting with his uncle...now some of you texans near the matagorda bay area may have heard about this already but im just finding out....I asked him wat he was doing home so soon and he said i almost died friday night...well apparently they were camping on some island in matagorda where they duck hunt out there and had to run back to the truck before they went to sleep...he said the wind was blowin but they were in a 17 foot allweld with a v...so they didnt think much of 1-2 foot seas....by time they were a quater the way back to the launch the seas had picked up to 5 feet and was rollin...they took on to much water and started sinking as they rear of the boat was sinking he said he stood on the bow and called 911..all he heard was the woman say this is 911 emergency and he said i need help im sinking in matagorda bay and his phone cut off...he said he put his life vest on and the boat had flotation so it just rolled over...they sat on the boat for 2 hours just waiting and hoping...finally they drifted past a welll head where he decided they had to swim for it...well he made it to the well and his uncle had to turn back to the boat and they didnt see each other again till saturday night...he sat on that well head from 6 at night till 430 in the morning and froze...he was hypothermic and was freezing...he said he watched the coast gaurd pass him by 200 yrds. from him about 5 times throughout the course of the night...there was no way to signle to them though..finally after going from well head to well head they found him andhe was saved...5 hours later they find his uncle unconcious but alive on the boat 10 miles away.....God Saves Lives..and if i had any doubt now i dont...freezing cold water in the middle of winter and they both made it...all we can do is be thankful for that well head or watever miraculously brought them to safety...Thank God i decided not to go...cause there was no way id be able to pull myself the 5 feet vertical that he had to to get on that well head....id prolly not be here now....i know ima be counting mah blessings this sunday...

You are always supposed to stay with the boat. That is what the USCG is looking for.
But on the other hand, he might have died if he did.
Bad situation.
