Finally had a few hours of light winds this a.m. and took advantage of it for a couple of hours .

Took father and brother "N" law out and we had a good topwater bite . Once winds picked up switched to lil johns .

Shut it down around 10am and headed in for lunch !

Happy Memorial Day

Solid trip. Especially in this wind.

Nice catch!

I have a question though, how do you install your light on the motor cowling. Seems like the wire would be a hassle every time you have to add oil, no? I thought about doing the same thing, but didn't know how I'd resolve that except maybe having some kind of plug on the wires.

I don't have to add oil I have a 2 stroke and my oil tank cap is on my back deck and feeds to motor

Just have to tuck the wire off to the side
