My cousins fish

My cousin who just retired as head of UW Police, built a cabin in Alaska. She caught a 70 lb. King Salmon. It is voted catch of the year by the Kenai sportsfishing Assoc.
I am trying to get her to send a picture and I will post it when she does.

From her email:

Hello Raymond. Good to hear from you. Attached is the mount I had made. I released the fish because Kenai has a Release a Hog program to keep the big gene pool in the river. They paid $800 towards a mount.

Hope all is well there.

Good eye inspector Fool... that dude changed his whole outfit... Beautiful fish though

Ray 12-11-2009 08:35 PM

The sportsfishing assoc. paid $800 towards the replica.

Ray 12-14-2009 11:49 AM

Her response.

Sorry I wasn't clear. The silver one I'm pictured with the guide holding vertically is a 45 lb and was a hen. It is separate from the red one that is shown in the river with the tape measure and the picture also with me shown kneeling with the guide. That red one was the 70 lb hog that I released and made a mount of that is hanging on the wall.
