Picked up a Waterloo for $110 at Academy earlier this week. Lots of other good rods in the same range.

I have a 7'2" MH veritas. Stiffer than I expected. But I like it.

I was looking at the Ducketts other day.. They look and feel great but I'm too rough on my equipment to spend that much $100 on a rod... I'll prolly just stick to the $50 Allstars.

Ive been buying shimano convergence rods, you can buy two and still have some money left over for $100. I have a couple that are over 2 years old and they have lasted both in salt and fresh water

Check out Denali Rods they have some nice rods I'm the 100 dollar range.

St. Croix Mojo Bass, it has some major backbone if you are looking for a MH rod. Fast action on the tip and cast pretty decent for a MH rod. I rigged mine with 50#power pro on a Chronarch. A buddy turned me on to them after I kept snapping rods flipping reds in the boat. The braid will pop or hook will straighten before I snap that thing.

I fished the Skeet Reese yellow rods with great success. They are built my Wright and McGill. Free replacement for less than $100. Specks and Reds both.. I've flipped 5-8# reds in boat with this rod.
