Thank everyone for your help with my rabbit dogs
 

Just wanted to thank everyone for all your help! I have found some property to run my dogs on and wanted to let everyone know that if u have any property you'd like to hunt this year but don't have dogs I'm more then happy to drive and bring mine to make a hunt with anyone!

I also have a couple young dogs that are running for sale if anyone's interested

I was just talking to a friend of mine about just this last night.

I have a house boat at the Atchafalya Delta WMA. Once deer season ends LDWF opens big island for rabbit hunting with shotguns and dogs. The place is crawling with rabbits and I think it would be a blast to bring a small pack of dogs there. If it sounds like something you would be interested in drop me a PM with your contact info and I'll give you a call so we can make plans.

Anytime anyone wants to go i'm up for it now it makes it very hard when everyone just wants to hunt AFTER deer or duck season makes it hard I work offshore so I only have 2 weeks in February to get to everyone a hunt but I will try my best to get to everyone who wants to make a hunt....

I wish they would open up more rabbit hunting with dogs on places during the other seasons it makes it kinda hard to feed dogs all year long only to hunt for a couple weeks but its what we have to do for now so lol

I feel ya, just everywhere I can hunt these days is a deer lease. I used to have a awesome patch of woods in my backyard, but we cleared it out for more pastures

I'll still do my best to make a hunt with you though buddy!

Bradley, I have some land in deridder if your wanting to run. I know your pretty booked this year, but there is always next year

gosh....I sur miss those days....it's been 20 years. We nailed about 15 rabbits and then the dogs got on some quail. about 2 dozen. then back to the outdoor kitchen for some card playin', saint's football and one hell of a rice and gravy. Gosh.. I miss those days.

Wish i could find someone who had a nice piece of property that liked to make a yearly tradition of this kinda hunt

Where in palmetto? I hunt there and I have a buddy that owns a bunch of land there too

Not exactly sure. My friend Kevin Macip had access to some land. Haven't been in a few years gotta touch base with him.

My cousin's family has some land out there too
