I just got a call and was told the General is ordering the Post closed, they told me to send everyone home and close up the motorpool. Too late, I'm already at the house snacking on some boudin from Soileau's. Heck, it's Friday, I always find a reason to go home early on Friday's.

Wind and rain picking up here, I went and stocked up with new PS3 game, blue ray movies, new cd, fishing baits, food and cigs.

got to make a couple more calls and i'll hunker down for the night :smokin:

Having a friggin blast in the snow!!! Fingers are pink and I'm pretty sure starting to get frostbite, but I'm having too much fun to care :D

The snow here is fairly heavy, but very little is sticking to the ground...Excuse the mess in the picture of our "compound"...we just finished putting up the garage and we're adding on a patio cover, so that part of the yard is a mess. :redface:

My niece lives just South of Deridder and she said it was raining there too.
We are supposed to be going to a party in Ragley tonight. No snow there yet.
