Need fishing help!
 

So, i've been fishing the Roosevelt bridge for a few days ( in Stuart FL ) but only seem to catch gafftopsail catfish. as far as bait go's i've tried it all form live to frozen, to soft to hard plastics all seem to get catfish, i know there are snook and redfish and other drum fish getting caught there and sheepshead. my question is why am i only getting catfish and other people getting the good stuff.

that's why its called fishing, I find I catch gaftop catfish anywhere where I am catching specks, I think we just have cycles where some years they are more abundant then others.

a few times this year I cought over 30 gaftops plus a limit of trout on back to back trips and just had to catch a few of the gaftops to get them out of the way first to catch the specks then repeat at the next spot.
