what is the best gnat repellant?
 
well its that time of year again and I was wondering what the most popular and the more successful gnat repellants are being used?

also do those net things you wear over your head really work?

I take it this is the stuff.....just ordered a bottle. Maybe 15-20 won't be necessary no more.....

so I guess amber romance is the replacement for the old tried and true skin-so-soft that used to be the favorite gnat repellant?

personally SSS only helped me a little and gnats just got stuck to you with that oil on you so I just got away from using it.

I heard some old guys at the launch saying vanilla car freshener spray worked too but I never tried it to know if it was effective or not.

If the gnats are real bad need to put my bug suit on, it covers every square inch of your exposed body.

If your going to be using amber romance ,MAKE SURE that wife / girl friend / both, know that you have it and what it smells like!!! Really hard to explain when you come home from fishing / hunting why you smell like you been in a hohouse???

Lady on Grand Isle made a spray with 1/3 Listerine mouthwash, 1/3 vanilla extract, and 1/3 water and it worked wonders on gnats
