Flounder gigging grand isle help

My sister and I are going down to grand isle Thursday night through Friday night and don't know where to go at all! I have a 14/30 john boat and trolling motor to get to the close shallow flats. I've heard Elmer's island on the marsh side and caminada pass and fe fe island if any of you could help i would greatly appreciate it!!! Any maps would help thank you! big lake has been a PITA trying to find good water when I'm off so we figured we would go down there and give a go. If water clarity is bad we will just pole fish I guess but really looking to get on the flounder before duck season starts .

Thanks ,

Trout

Tried to do it one time out there when was a freshman in college. The only thing we caught was a buzz. Picture 4 offensive linemen in a 15' flat, at night with enough beer to feed 1000lbs of 20 year old coon asses. We each had a 10 penny nail on a broomstick. It ended badly.
