Been awhile

Hey fellas, been off the water since june, due to some boat issues and personal life, heading down tomorrow to big lake. Whats the pattern on the fish right now? Over reefs, drop off at the ship channel? Just been awhile and any help would be appreciated!!!

Caught a few under under the some birds on the South end of the lake between the bank and old jetties on an incoming tide and some reds beating the banks in Long Point Bayou. It was slow for the most part. Saturday was miserable, Sunday was better. Haven't really heard any great reports yet. All the trout we caught were 12 to 14 inches for the most part. Not many big ones in there but no throw backs. Redfish bite was aggressive in the marsh. Matrix Tiger baits on a jig head with a small spinner was what worked best for me. Used Lil Speck Killers under the birds.
