Yellow Mouth Fever

http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/g...ps8ylyf7xy.jpg http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/g...pso0ambfkf.jpg Allen Moore with Wells Fargo Financial brought in a group to Reel Inn Dularge Wednesday evening. Chef Shawn P cooked them up a great dinner, and everyone went to bed happy. We departed just before daybreak and found the big yellow mouths waiting on us!!! It was every cast on the double rigged Matrix Shad, as everyone was slinging in the big trout 18-21 inches 1-2 at a time. Avocado, Green Hornet, and Lemon Head seemed to work best today. The fish were on the surface in a feeding frenzy. They would hit the baits immediately or after drifting a short distance. The K2 was filling up nicely, then all of a sudden it happened. In the blink of an eye it was over, they went cold turkey on us. We started moving around only pecking away at them the rest of the morning. We called it a day around noon to head in and clean fish. Thanks guys for a great trip and I look forward to the next trip. Big thanks to Capt Rob DuPont for running the second boat with the other half of the crew. Capt.
