The Gulf was full of storms this morning, so plan B it was. Our first stop had us at the redfish hole, but no reds willing to bite. Straight to the Bass hole the Bluewave went!! As soon as the Power Pole was deployed it was "Bass On"!!! Five bass hit the K2 and another 5 -10 were lucky to see another day. We moved less than ten yards and were up to 15 bass. This kept up and we had our 40 bass limit iced down with no problem. 4 redfish decided to jump into the K2 also. Brush hogs were the bait of choice today for the bass. We tried a couple other locations for reds, then it started to drizzle. My crew said "let's hit the dock", no problem. We made it back to the dock, and cleaned fish. Thanks for two great days of fishing, and I look forward to your return. Capt. Marty LaCoste 985-856-4477 www.absolutefishingcharters.com |
