Whats the difference
 

Me and my wife are arguing about some stupid socks...

I asked her to get me some socks, but to make sure she didnt get me the "tube" socks, because they didnt have the crease in the heel.. She said that it didnt matter, because the fact that they are "tube" socks mean that they come up to your knees. I replied with "not really" because a Tube means that its just a strait sock, i didnt give a rats azz how high it came up on my leg, to just make sure that its a "crew" sock because of the defined crease in the heel.

She swears up and down that "tube" refers to the length. Im not saying that it doesent.. but....

I guess the main question is..... What is the REAL difference between a CREW sock and a TUBE sock...

I agree with you tube socks suck and there is no crease and the fall down alot. Crew sock are the way to go unless you are wearing shorts then it needs to be no socks or ankle socks.

I got 2 pairs just like that... Love em

tube socks are over the calf and can have toe and heel .
crew socks do have toe and heel but can be higher than ankle socks:eek:

Im not sure about the sock thing Catdaddy but I caught some 2 big cats on some jugs last friday. It was my first time doing that but I think Im hooked...I may be asking for some tips though if you got em....Sorry to jack your thread.. but SOCKS??? LOL

Just got back from shrimping btw.. Didnt do all that well... about 70 lbs of shrimp, and about 10 doz crabs, and a spoonbill..
