Wanted to take the kids fishing so decided to book a trip with a guide, called kevin Broussard and he said he had an opening with shawn mccrae, y'all ever heard of this guy, and is he good with kids? Just want the kids to catch a few trout and enjoy what I do. Thanks guys

Don't know him, if it were me I would be booking with W (Waltrips saltwater guide service) or JAdama (Adams trophy charters).

Shawn is a good guy. I know him personally (coached him in youth sports) and he's always putting fish on the deck.

Capt Shawn McRay will put you on the fish. He's a good Captain and a good guy.

I sent 5 kids (Two were mine and three friends) ages 13-16 with Jarad Adams. They went alone with him last year and are still talking about it today. They came home with a limit of trout and a limit of reds! I think it was some of the money well spent. I recommend him. Im not saying the others are not good just my experience.

Shawn McRay is a good guy. Y'all will have fun with him.
