Sargassum everywhere

Went to Rockefeller Saturday and the sargassum was all the way up to the boat ramp. Went south and tried to get into the mouth where it meets the gulf and it was THICK, couldn't get through it. Tons of little shrimps in there. Wife has pics of it, I am too cheap to get a camera phone, still have old school flip phone. Caught some decent crabs too fwiw

Trolled it for an hour with Mann's Stretch 30s and then freelined some hardtails but nothing:spineyes:

damn... bet the triple tail would have been all over that if it was late june-august. I've nailed them before there.

What did the water look like?

Sargassum is very hard to identify on the internet, sometimes I think people are just being jerks or are truly ignorant.
