anniversary dinner suggestions
Took her to la truffe savage last year, and we both enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Is there any better place in l.c. to try before I make reservations? I've heard good things about ember....any of y'all been?

121 is waaaaaaaaaay better than Ember, IMO..

Mazens is one of my favorite restaurants in Lafayette. I'm sure the Lake Charles one is just as good
|
Mazens is good, but definitely not on par with L.T.S. WE ONLY do fine dining a couple times a year, and I try to make it count

You want be disappointed with the filet from 121, I promise you that.

Nope wrong Mazens, the one across from mall isn't good, the one south side I210, is the one to go to. Two Mazens in Lake Charles.
Been to LTS and yes it is good also. |
Steaks, go to 121
Fish, go to Mazens Dinner and gambling, Embers Romantic and quiet, LTS |
Go check out Cousins on Kirkman st. Doesn't look like much on the outside but the food is amazing. They have the best broiled snapper and grouper in town. Lots of different beers on tap and a great selection of wine. They usually have specials that are awesome.
