Craig and Don Murphy from St Louis and Tony Renlund from Wisconsin called me up wanting to catch reds. I told them it was brutal out there with strong winds, but knew we could get them on some fish. The guys had a late night celebrating Tonys birhday, so we got a late start departing at 10am. Our first stop had the guys reeling in four nice fish with guys catching their first ever Louisiana Reds!! Our second stop had four more coming in the big Bluewave, good times. Another stop had back to back reds coming in, and we thought it was on!! Only one more hit the deck there!! A couple more stops and we called it a day. Tough and brutal 25-30 mph winds all day, not easy fishing for sure. Mission accomplished though as the guys had a blast on their first ever redfish trip. They loved the fight of the reds. Thanks guys as it was a pleasure fishing with you.
