Reminds me of Cypremort Point boat ramp follies.

I guess they didn't want to got the tires on the Odyssey wet!! Kinda reminds me of the launch at the Little Praire landing on Schooner bayou, gotta back your truck up half way into the water to get the boat off/on the trailer!

If the boat launching went that well, I bet the fishing was even better.

i ve had that happen when i was launching a baystealth using a sienna minivan. worked fine during most times of year but when winter low tides makes the ramp slick, it was a workout. Almost lost the van one morning launching out of texas city dike. I immmediately upgraded to a truck the following year.

All you can say is WOW...

I've seen poor driving, leaving the truck at the launch running, and not tying off the boat and watching it float away... that was a first for actually seeing someone trying to jerk the trailer out from under the boat without floating the boat... ROFL

I watched a group of guys drop their boat on the ramp at North Toledo Bend State Park. They hadn't backed the boat far enough off the trailer before they pulled up and the back of the trailer caught the front of the boat at dropped it on the cement right at the water's edge.

Seen a guy once at Quintana Landing trying to trailer his brand new 22ft Kenner. He got sideways between the two warfs (perpendicular to his trailer). He ripped off his swim ladder on the warf behind him and then got nervous, gunned it and dry docked it on the opposite warf. There was no feathing the throttle...it was hammer down or nothing! I gave him a hand getting if off of the warf and he asked me if I would mind getting it on the trailer it for him. I pulled his boat up of the trailer and jumped out and got back in my boat. I looked back and watched him get out the boat and pull it up the ramp dragging the skeg all the way up the ramp. When he got it completely out of the water he jumped out of his truck cracked up the engine and then trimmed up the motor. I felt kinda sorry for the guy cuz his wife was barking at him the whole time. I once saw a kid doing 55mph pulling a boat trailer, 10 ft behind the trailer was his boat skidding on the road still hooked to the winch strap. I couldn't flag him down cuz he was headed in the opposite direction. I beleive he figured it out sooner or later.
