Antigua fishing on the Obsession

Got married last weekend, so me and the new wife are down in Antigua in the West Indies for a week at Cocobay resort. I will post some pics of the resort when we get back, but this place is amazing. Now back to the important stuff, fishing. Booked a trip with Capt Derek Biel on the Obsession, a 45ft Hatteras, a few months ago after searching for a good capt on the island online for a while. Very nice guy and well run boat. The deck hand was really cool too. Me n him talked about fishing all over, as they fish tournaments all over the Caribbean and S Florida, and I told him how we do it in Louisiana. We left the dock at 7 and were fishing by 715 for wahoo and dolphin first. By 915 we had 4 nice dolphin and 5 small hoos, so we went to pull baits on the shelf for some marlin and bigger wahoo. We got a couple short strikes but no other fish. Back at the dock for 1. Trip cost me $800, in hindsight I would pay the extra $200 for an 8 hour trip, but it was my wife's first time offshore so I didn't want to push it especially since it is usually pretty rough this time of year. That Hatteras ate up those 3-5s like a Haynie in big lake does though. Attachment 65337Attachment 65338Attachment 65339Attachment 65340Attachment 65341

I have a follow up question.......

Did he bust out any left handers or a bong out on the water.

We actually talked about weed... He doesn't smoke, he gave it up when he had kids and a family to take care of. It's also highly illegal to posses it here, but they are talking about decriminalizing it for medicinal purposes.
