BL 3/13
Launched from Calc Pt with Cripley this morning around 9:30 specifically targeting the elusive yellow mouth. Headed for turners and were we met with some pretty dirty water. We threw the arsenal at them including, soft dine, gulp, corky's, crazy croakers. Also threw all colors. Tried the island and east bank with no avail. Moved down south to find some clearer water, which we did. Picked up 3 reds and moved over to West Cove. Again throwing the aresenal at them but no dice. Beautiful day on the water with water temps ranging from 60-62. Hope others faired a little better than we did but glad to be out there. Tight lines!

Thanks for the report. Don't feel bad. Looks like yesterday was a tough day on BL for all.

We got hit up by the survey guy from W&F at Calc Pt. Looked like everyone had a slow day on the water.

We did too. His survey was a bit longer this time. Usually just ask how many, what kind of fish and where we caught them. This time I felt like Obama added a few more questions to the survey. :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Hahahahhaha, yeah he asked if we had time for a quick survey, I said sure...."No fish...." That quick enough?? |
We fished from about 130 to dark. Ran all over the lake and some places off the lake. Wind was definetly windier than expected. Water was dirty in many spots. Caught one keeper red, one through back, one drum, and one 4 pound trout on plastic. Tough day for sure.

We seen plenty of bait moving we would get all excited than nothing
