weekend report from Laccassine Co....
 

We hunt the rice fields right next to the Laccassine Pool Co. I wasn't very hopeful because we hadn't seen many birds, but it turned out ok......next weekend should be much better hopefully. I was in the quick blinds both mornings....:D

Sat:

3 blinds hunted
Blind 1 - 3 hunters - 3 limits of teal by 6:35
Blind 2 - 4 hunters - 9 ducks
Blind 3 - 4 hunters - 6 ducks

Sunday:

3 blinds hunted
Blind 1 - 3 hunters - 3 limits of teal & grays by 6:45
Blind 2 - 4 hunters - 19 ducks, 3 snows, and 3 specs
Blind 3 - 4 hunters - scratch

Don't feel bad C. This was the worst opening weekend by far.

i hunted down there a few times back when it was the rod & gun club
