The doc said 3 more weeks before wetting a line! Although still recovering from surgery I felt great and eager to get out on the water for the first time in months. I've been a good patient soldier but I couldn't take it anymore. Yesterday was too beautiful to stay home. My wife said she wanted to go fishing and who am I to say no?? Grilled redfish was on the menu for supper.Launched the pro drive at 1 pm and done for 3 pm with our reds. We caught 25 reds keeping 8 fish to eat and deadeye Chris and Roni had their 10 fish limit. Good therapy huh? I think so!! Anyway we had a great adventure on our 2 hour trip!! Great to get out the house and get some sunshine!! Yes the wife boxed more keepers than me but I am handicapped after all!! We came in with 18 reds between the 2 boats. Cleaned up 15 nice reds and gave 3 to a couple for supper that got skunked without catching a fish all day. A beautiful day on the DU!!
