Looks good. I agree wings are getting way to high.

It neva fails papap, every time us country boys find out something is good and cheap the cat gets outa the bag and the price goes through the roof. In 1973 I stood at the plaqumine ferry crossing and sold crawfish 15 cents a lb by the sac. I remember when I was a kid ya could get a big cow tongue, for 50 cents. I am sure yall have other examples of things that went up when folks found out they were good. Of course thanks to chicken breast being so popular the leg quarters are often found for less than a buck a lb.

Cracklings used to be cheap too. Now das higher dan giraffe dussy

Got dat right man. In the old days cracklins were the by product of rendering lard. It was the lard folks wanted. Now cracklins around 16$ a lb and ya can hardly give the lard away. Go figure

You got that right Cappy. I love it when Momorial Day and July 4th rolls around. You can pick up 10lb bags of leg quarters for cheap cheap cheap. I load up the freezer with em then. Everyone needs some chicken legs eventually. Cant beat em for chicken n dumplings or a chicken n brocolli casserole
