How far out of the pass do you have to go to get into snapper? Seems like a long ride for a couple of fish.

Try this link. If it doesn't work, go to earthnc.com and look for the nautical charts.

I've caught them in 45' of water early in the season. I think it was blk 102??? Don't recall if it was EC or VER. IIRC it was within 30mi SW of FWC

You do not just go for red snapper. You get your limit of them quickly then fish for other types or get the other fish first then stop for a pair of red snappers.

Rardion..

Verm 102 is in about a little over 60 of water... There is only one platform left in 102 field..

Verm. Blk 60 is about 50 something ft.. Its 15 miles due south of Rollover.. 102 is a little over 30 miles from RO..

U can caught snaps in the 40 blks in Verm.. About 38' of water right now..
