I ended up spending the day at the hospital and couldn't make it.
Went to the dr. appointment with my 9 month pregnant wife this morning and the Dr. sent us to the hospital because the baby's heartbeat was above normal.

How did it go?

Pretty good minus them holding out on the beer till after the snapper discussion. Probably for the best anyway. It got a lil heated for a while. I would hate to see the opinions that would of came out with a few beers in those guys.

How did the triple tail discussion go? They still tryin to cut us down?

They didn't bring it up it seems like it's swept under the rug for now.

Or when they wanna do somethin without the people paying them money knowing, they don't mention it.

The only person there we could have brought it up to was Billy Broussard. He's the commission chairman. He had an emergency and had to leave before it was his chance to speak. The Fed lady with the gulf council took up most of the night. It's a state issue so I didn't bring it up when she was speaking.

Not the Case.. This was a snapper info ask and answer last night with the fed's.. A spokeman for the Gulf Fisheries Council was there.. The questions were REALLY TOUGH...

This lady TOOK as BEATING and the attendes, asked ALL TOUGH QUESTIONS.. All the people that posed questions, opinion, or made statements were recorded and will be Delivered to the Gulf Council members.

She avoided a lot of questions I found. I think her favorite statement was. That's not us that's Noaa

Bob.. I agree to some degree. But at least people showed up and was able to express there opinion, concerns..


But there should have been a lot more people there IMO..

The Gulf Council had a member there who IS PRO CCA..

This lady was just a staffer... She took a BEATING BELIEVE ME..

She did DEFLECT a lot of Questions..

Marsh Rat, I was the one that made the comment about its time to end the meeting and get a beer! lol... where were u sitting?
