Cleco Lake

Does anyone know where Cleco Lake is around Alexandria?

Yes it's north of Alexandria right off I 49. There is a high school on the east side of the hwy and a plant on the left and the lake is behind the plant. It used to have awesome fishing, I don't know about it now as I haven't fished it in 10 years.

Off of I49, Flatwoods Exit; HWY8 Head west. There is a little white shell road to the left named Cleco road that will take you to a free launch.

Cleco Lake is the same as Lake Rodemacher

Went about 10 years ago. Caught a few. Back then, word out on the street was if you were in the "warm water shoot" when they were generating (discharging warm water) it was on. Thats during the winter months of coarse.
