speck-chaser 12-29-2013 06:11 PM

It? just one?

Goooh 12-29-2013 06:39 PM

Fished deep, shallow, drops, heavy, light, top, bottom, suspended, twitch, jerk, jig, walk, roll, clean, dirty, cold, warm, turners to prien.

1 red, and I think he was half dead. Had a hole in him that actually went through his side to his stomach - was surprised when I cut him open

Big lake hates me.

speck-chaser 12-29-2013 11:24 PM

It did suck yesterday but Saturday was actually pretty good

BayBolt23 12-30-2013 07:56 AM

It wasn't easy yesterday! My father n law put a whopping on me with his popping cork catching 9 out of the 12 trout we caught! Fished up north at daylight till the tide went dead slack then moved further south to get more tide movement when we saw bait being crushed by reds and had to make a stop to investigate! Caught reds every cast for about 30 minutes! Called it a day at noon with 12 trout and 10 reds! Cleaned fish and fought the pelicans at the Cal Point and still made it home to watch the Saints destroy TB!!
