Floating New Orleans, Floating homes

Watched a cool show on mega engineering the other night. In some cities overseas people are using 2 level concrete floating homes to live in.

Not sure if the floating new orleans idea would actually be a good one, except for the fast that we could un tie them and let em drift down to mexico, lol

I would like to see just the Superdome on float on one of those floaty things...........................

Float it halfway to Mexico and then pull the drain plug:D

how many 55 gallon drums you think it would take to float a project house?

Why would you do that? The 55 gal. drums are more valuable than the project house

i am just wondering what the saints did to you? i am not looking for an argument just an explanation.

No its cool man............I just formed my opinion about the Saints when I was young (like 7 or 8 years old). I tried to like them, but there was something about 'em I just couldnt get over. I think it had something to do with them not being able to finish games and win. People ask me all the time "well what about now". My answer is, I am not a bandwagon saints fan. I will give them props on having a good year, but I will not start pulling for the saints just because they are doing good now. Same thing goes for why I like the Dolphins. They had a good team when I was a kid and I thought Dan Marino was the shizzle. So that was my favorite team, and will always be through the good and bad.

Just remember I dont mean any harm when I make fun of the saints......ask Red Devil......I just do it to poke fun at ya'll...........

i think you have class when it comes to poking fun. i can tell everything is said light hearted when you are ragging on some of these guys. i try not to get into some of these little playground butt whippings that some people on here get into. I just wanted to know from the horse's mouth why you were not a saints fan when you live in louisiana.

bay_slayer 11-10-2009 07:44 PM

I hear ya............some people take it way too far
