11/18 AM quickie
 

Woke to rain, waited it out for a bit and a a window to work with. Got on location of yesterday's fast action and it was happening, but it was slower and I felt like exploring.

Rode over to duck pond trout spot and trolled around a little til I found them. Several times small packs of trout chased small minnows on the surface. Bait was so small that they were reluctant to hit the SSJr I had tied on. But they eagerly slurped the Terror tail and 1/4 oz.

During this time the rain moved in and moved in hard. A little thunder and I figured it was time to seek entertainment elsewhere. Good and soaked by the time I got back. No pics and no fish kept, but a ton of fish caught who'll never know how lucky they were!

Damn you're mad at those trout to go fishing this morning! Nice dedication bro!

By the way, when I got out there in between rain bands, it was in the seventies and the calm had the gnats out in force. Not thirty minutes after I got back to the camp - soaking wet - the temp dropped ten degrees and the north wind started. Big big big change in weather!
