Saltwater inshore Fishing Rods?

Anyone have some good advice on a good decent priced saltwater rod? I have already been threw 2 falcon saltwater Series 7ft medium rods(About 3" of the rod snapped) in a matter of 6 months.

I've had my falcon for a bit now with no issues. I run an Abu and Okuma baitcaster, and a falcon and Okuma spinner.

I'm no expert, but the okuma's are my favorite out of the bunch.

Okuma baitcaster has a speed spool on it, the spinner has a Sahara, falcon has a Sedona, and Abu has a revo S. The 2 okuma's are super smooth, light, great feel in the hand, and both cast great with the reels they are paired with.

Stick'Em rods are great for their price point.

Seen super spook has a Laguna liquid series for sale in the classifieds. Doesn't get any better for a production rod.

Just picked up a GLoomis Greenwater today...will reply w/ post tomorrow evening of what I think.

I myself love the falcon cara T7 7' med fast
Great balance / weight/ sensitivity/ durability
But u have to ship them off at your expense for replacement. Just sent one off so will see how long it will take to get feedback/return.

Not a big shimano rod fan (product) but love the warranty.

Good luck and remember, with rods....u definitely get what u pay for.

Most of my money is spent on fishing, fishing tackle, & boats... The rest is wasted.

I have a st croix crankbait rod I really like for jigging and top water. It's a 7ft medium moderate action. Right around $100. Stick em rods are definitely good for under $100. My favorite rod I own is a 6'6" H&H split grip, but W told me they quit making that model.

I like my shimanos. I know some say that they make a rob that will break, and it is an inconvenience to bring it in for replacement.

However, I do love my shimano rods. I have 2 7' ML Crucials and a 7' M Duce twisted. Used to have a ML duce, but read up on previous threads.

Falcon makes decent rods. I agree with Paul that stick'em rods are good for the price you pay.

Stick'em ~$70
Falcon HD ~$70
Shimano Clarus ~$100
Shimano Crucial ~$160

Meaux, do you still use the Compre's? I've never fished with them but when I was rod shopping I figured I'd go up a little in price for a better blank. Any thoughts for a $110 compre with a lifetime warranty?

Yeah when I bass fish. Those are my bass rods. I also have a compre and a crucial spinning rod. I have no problems with em at all. The only time I've broke a shimano rod it was user error putting it in a rod box

Still like my $40 berkley lightning rods for spinning tackle. Okuma reels.
That way if i break one its not going to make me cry.

Warranty may be a little shady, however.

I had one mess up on me and got it replaced free next day.
