Went back down to Henry today and dropped the yaks in at daylight. We had a 5 minute paddle to some duck ponds and it looked like we had timed the tide just right. My third or fourth cast in something smashes my topwater. It slapped it another 3 times before it actually took it. Off we went on a Cajun sleigh ride! I finally get it netted after about 10 minutes.

At this point I thought it was gonna be on. Negative, me and my buddy each had a couple more blow ups but they never took it. I ended up catching two more under a cork right when the tide changed, but that was it. Finished the day with 3 to go get ready for the saints game.

That's Just to the east of your duck blind Josh. When you get to the lil turn that it goes to gravel before Herbert's we turn I left into that cattle pen and drive to the back.
