day hunts for deer
 

we're primarily duck hunters but my oldest son has expressed an interest in doing more deer hunting. does anyone know of a place where i can bring him in Louisiana where i can bring him a few times per season. not looking for trophies mostly does. thanks

Public or private land ?? Kisatche and Ft Polk have ALOT of does.... Make sure you check the regulations on when you can take does though

get with Latt or look into Texas day hunts. its hard to beat a couple hunts in West Texas for does and a small buck or spike because of the different scenery and chance to see some trophies and exotics

There is also a place just eastof lake Charles that does day hunts. Exotics and white tails. Will try to remember the name. Also a place near ville plate.

whats bad is that even a doe is expensive nowadays....

if you have a good duck spot, you may be able to trade someone a couple good duck hunts for some deer hunts for you son
